RESUMO

This paper has as main objective to assess the existence of the correlation between moral harassment and resilience. Moral harassment at work is characterized mainly by abusive conduct is by the employer or the employees, with intent to harass, or to log deleting someone unwanted group, characterized by intentionality and repetitiveness. The resilience is the ability of a human being, alone or as part of a social group, must recover psychologically when subjected to abuse and misadventures, experiencing them, being transformed by them, and beating them to the final. Understanding of the concepts is to assist the search the discovery problem, prepared with the following question: what is the correlation between moral harassment bullying and resilience? This is a quantitative study, quantum, sorted, use as a research exploratory, explanatory note. As to the means, has two dimensions: initially is a bibliographic search, and additionally is a lookup field. The empirical field used is composed of small and medium business of the branch computer retailer, with the participation of 307 people, being used 296 between customer and seller. The search tool was a questionnaire adapted from two stopovers validated previously by scientific works, the scale of perceived moral harassment of Nery (2005), and the resilience scale Wagnild &Young, translated by Pesce et al. (2005). The data were worked with software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 18.0, descriptive statistics modules, factor analysis and Test of Mann-Whithney. The results obtained indicate that the perception of moral harassment bullying was given by the definition of four factors: Disparaged; Deterioration purposeful; Attack on the dignity, and isolation and refusal to communicate. With respect to this resilience was measured on the basis of averages obtained by the respondents, having as main outcome measurement of individuals, indicating whether they were more or less resilient. With the results achieved mean that resilience can have its effect as a defense for negative actions, from bullying, since it serves as an instrument of protection against such acts, and can be used as parameter for selecting people for organizations.
