RESUMO

This study had as aim analizing the relation between human Development and the contents of School Physical Education Class. It also tried to think about the culture play component part in the recreation: Human Development and School Physical Education. The possibility of Human Development in the contents of Physical Education Classes was analysed according to facility, clarification, catalysis and promotion criteria based on Carvalho. The analysis o f the culture play component was achieved from Animation Pedagogy proposal done by Marcellino, verifying the Physical education Class space as a possibility of play manifestation and its characteristics. It is a question of a comparative study combined with bibliographical research. Observation technique and fowsed interview have been used. The data were collected in public school in São Paulo country in elementary school classes. The evidence and observation results points out to an incoherence between speech and the practice performance by teachers the speech puts itself in a ?progressist? posture of education, following the taxonomy of author Sônia Aparecida Ignacio Silva, where students are exposed to several stimulus that face the movements reproduction without questioning these movements and the reality of their society. From these presuppositions, is made the indication of a pedagogical proposal, based on leisure area contents are tries to stimulate the culture play component through the form and content of School Physical Education Classes
