Cursos técnicos: um campo de atuação para o licenciado em psicologia na cidade de Belo Horizonte

RESUMO
The present work is focused on the Psychology licentiate performance in the city of Belo Horizonte. The main objective was to identify, characterize and analyze the Psychology licentiate practice fields. Technical courses which include in their course curriculum Psychology teaching were object of research. It was used qualitative research and a comparative analysis of Psychology related subjects teaching plans was carried out. As a result, it was concluded that the professions have their competencies, rights, obligations, practice fields, and specialization fields defined. A professions practice fields can be understood as tension and struggle areas artificially limited, in which one may perform a practice through some specific activities. Among the Brazilian Psychologist professional attributions, it is possible to find the Psychology teachers occupation detailed in secondary school courses. In order to teach in such courses it is necessary to be licentiate according to the legislation. Technical courses therefore are important practice field for the psychology licentiate in the city of Belo Horizonte. In such courses, there are Psychology subjects and subjects in which psychological contents are worked with. It was also noticed that Psychology teaching occurs more frequently, in health related courses. Through teaching plans analysis it was possible to verified that there is a regularity in relation to contents choice that were taught in Occupational Safety Nursing technical courses. This suggests that such subjects teachers seem to have a common criterion when choosing contents that will be taught to future professionals
