Concepções pedagógicas nos currículos de artes visuais em Santa Catarina

RESUMO

This study had as central proposal mapping the curriculum of Visual Arts, focusing the authors referred in the basic bibliography, in the description of the courses: Art Teaching, Art Methodology and Supervised Training in Visual Arts of Community Universities of Santa Catarina which offer the licensing course in a regular basis. Universities contemplated in this research were: Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB), Universidade da Região de Joinville (UNIVILLE), Universidade do Planalto Catarinense (UNIPLAC), Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC), Universidade do Contestado (UNC), Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina (UNOESC). The universities choice was motivated by the interest in the investigation of the curriculum of public and private schools which offer the visual arts course in a regular basis. The general goal was to analyze pedagogical conceptions present in professors formation, in visual arts graduation courses in Community Universities of Santa Catarina, considering the inter-relations between art and education, the visual arts professors formation, the curriculum and the authors present in this panorama. It was searched to investigate the period between the years of 2000 and 2006. The choice of this period occurred due the tendencies multiplicity that started to integrate the educational field, the changes and curricular revision promoted by the researched IES. It is considered a qualitative research, of exploratory nature. The methodological action contemplated documental analysis. The theoretical posture that leaded the research is the one of the Critical and Social Theories and of the Critical Pedagogy with an insertion in art and education and Visual Arts teaching. To analyze the results it was used as a parameter the Pedagogical Tendencies classification according to Dermeval Saviani, noting the approach of pedagogy renewal and productivist in the curriculum of visual arts of the IES surveyed
