RESUMO

Recombinant peptides rBmseq1 and RBmseq4 were evaluated as immunogenic for the control of ticks R. (B. ) microplus in test of stable. We used 17 bovine animals of the half-breed average degree of blood of 7/8 (H/Z), which were kept under the management routine in the Sector of isolation of bovine animals in the Department of Veterinary UFV. The animals were separated into four groups: group vaccine rBmseq1,group rBmseq4 vaccine, control group and group P. pastoralist, being immunized vaccine groups on days 0, 30 and 60 with 2 mg peptide recombinant associated with adjuvant saponin. The animals of the control group were inoculated with saline solution and the group Pichia pastoris with 2 mg of crude extract of P. pastoralist not processed. Collections were made serial blood and weekly until the 14TH week of the study. After 21 days of the third inoculation, the animals were submitted to artificial infestation with a total of 4,500 larvae/animal of R. (B). microplus (sample "Viçosa"). From the 19th day after the infestation animals were observed daily to the larval development. From the 21TH day was performed washing twice a day of the stalls and collections of manuals teleóginas detached, which were counted, weighed, identified and incubated in greenhouse B. O. D. by fifteen days, when their eggs were weighed. Numbers were analyzed teleóginas detached, egg weight, relation weight larvae/gram of eggs and its viability. The kinetics of production of antibodies was accompanied by ELISA, getting-securities greater for vaccine groups, statistically different groups controlling and Pichia pastorais (p0,05) The biological parameters were analyzed taking‐account of the number of teleóginas, weight and fertility of eggs. Efficacy was 52.72% for group rBmseq1 vaccine and 72.40% for group rBmseq4 vaccine . Regarding the assessment of the number of ticks, there was statistical difference between the groups, between themselves and when compared to the control group, markedly marked in the group rBmseq4. The parameters weight of teleóginas to detachment and average weight of oviposition of vaccine groups, did not differ statistically when compared to the control group. The results obtained show that the peptides recombinant rBmseq4 rBmseq1 and are viable alternatives for the control of ticks R. (B). microplus, its efficiency, environmental safety and low cost.
