RESUMO

Frequently, stresses are caused by changes in adaptations of prosthetic structures to the implant besides marginal disajustment between prosthetic fixing and rehabilitations. This study aims to evaluate the distribution of compression and traction of the prosthetic sustainers and the methalic framework melted in cromocobalt alloy, through the monoblock technic simulating a fixed prosthesis implantsupported on 06 implants at the distance of 10mm between each other and with bilateral cantilever extending to 20mm, placed along the mandibular oclusal line curvature, with the extensometry technic. In each abutment there have been placed four strain guages and one in each cantilever, in configuration "Wheatstone Bridge", after all components having been fixed to the framework, it was submitted to a mechanic essay with vertical pressing charges of 150Ncm, checking quantitatively the accurate result through extensometry. Results have been obtained by using the greatest values of axial charge registered in each place of applied force,. On nearest pillars to the charge, It has been obtained a greater degree of compression (fulcrum), what corresponds to the amount of oclusal force applied to the equalizing stress force. And, therefore, the most distant pillars will assimilate a negative deformation ( compression) or a positive deformation (traction, seesaw), proportional to the lever arm
