RESUMO

This research it aims at for discovery and utilization of new pharmacology drugs for prevents or attenuates viral disease diverse substances, as the fitotherapic, from search for effect antiviral. Polyphenolic composites and flavonoids possess antiviral, bactericid, antifungical properties. To investigate the poliphenolic compound, (ferulic acid and transcinnamic acid) and flavonoid (quercetin and kaenpherol) against the viral infection in vitro of the bovine herpesvirus 1 and 5 (BoHV 1 and 5) and the Canine distemper (CDV) was analyzed antiviral effect using two types of treatments. The antiviral effect of cells treated before-infection. In the assay for analysis of the virucidal activity (incubation of virus and substance for one hour post inoculation of cell culture) reduction of the viral activity for BoHV 1 and 5 of up to 99,99% to quercetin. The curve of viral growth using quercetin in different times (4, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours) demonstrate effective inhibition of replication of virus and potentially virucidal effects, reduction in the viral heading to 99,999% for both was found the viruses from 4 hours. They had been evaluated the antiviral and therapeutical potential the quercetin in rabbits inoculated with isolate BoHV 5 (SV/507), and submitted to quercetina oral administration. These results demonstrate reduction to number of animals shedding virus, reduction to number of days of viral shedding and of clinical signals infection and reduction to mortality. The resulted for Canine Distemper virus to reduction of viral heading 90%, 46.2%, 32.48% and 78% for the transcinnamic acid, ferulic acid, kaempherol and quercetin respectively. In the treatment of virucidal effect results to reduction of viral heading 99.99%, 97%, 79% and 95% for the acid ferulic, acid transcinnamic, kaempherol and for the quercetin, respectively. For the curve of viral growth using four substances in times 4, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72, hours the results had varied of 32% to 99% for the acid ferulic. The transcinnamic acid and kaempherol the results had been less signication, to quercetin the results had varied of 58% 99.9% in the virucidal. The results show flavonoids more effectively the quercetin further development as medically antiviral therapy in infections caused for these virus.
