RESUMO
Brazil has a significant number of enterprises in all business segments such as: car-industry, market share, consumer goods, electric-electronics, energy, construction, digital industry, mining, paper and cellulose, farming, chemistry, petrochemistry, fabric industry, transport and so on. As we know, all of these companies are inserted into the capital market and concomitantly focus their production to the exportation. Since 1992, with Brazils opening to the international market, the development and growth of these enterprises were considerable, reflecting directly on the domestic economics results. Due to these remarks, this study intends to research the effect of the companies exportation on their economic and financial results and how the resources are contributing to the development of the internationalization strategies according to the theory of Research Basic View (RBV). Initially, to have a better scenery of this relationship we focus our research on the corporations with open market, as they must publish their results through balance sheets, income statements, schedule of the origin income, and administration reports. The knowledge of all these inquiries will be applied into a model that relates the export rate to the turnover (indicates the degree of internationalization) with six economic-financial indicators (dry, general, and current liquidity, general indebtedness, EBITIDA, profit per share) and the number of employees. It is important to emphasize that this analysis has been developed through a historical series that contemplates the years 1995, 2000, 2005, and 2008. This choice was made considering that this period has influenced the domestic and the international economy, promoting strategic changes on the companies examined. This research will also try to demonstrate how the theories of RBV explain the export performance of the Brazilian companies with open market and automatically their financial results. To achieve these objectives the sample of this survey was composed by 40 Brazilian open corporations that are exporters and have internationalization strategies. The research used quantitative methods and documentation, collecting data from research on documents provided by companies at the institutional sites and the Securities Commission. The reliability of the understanding of the data was ensured by the inclusion of three statistical models: Panel Model, Map Factor and Decision Tree. In general it can be inferred that financial recourses the size of companies affect the export performance, confirming the essential goal of the model developed here
