RESUMO

In this essay we propose the literary text as a spaceforthe re-writing of Bantu's and Yoruba'straditions like a creative motor force of literary discourse. African voices in the America's appear to regain power in a different, aesthetic, hegemonic model. An example of this can be seen in the literary works: Abdias do Nascimento's (1914-2011) Sortilégio II: mistério negro de Zumbi redivivo (1979) and Manuel Zapata Olivella's (1920-2004) Changó, el gran putas (1983). The authors of these works, as intellectuals, position themselves as rebels, conscious of the heterogeneous voices that in habit the Afro-Latin world and they give those voices a role in the aesthetics of their texts. Thus, these intellectuals propose an Afro-Latin writing of African an cestry with aesthetic and political purposes in the Latin American literary tradition.
