RESUMO

The present research deals with the thematic one of the dismissals of the pupils in the lessons of pertaining to school Physical Education. It configures a dissertação, fruit of research carried through in the Feira de Santana city.The Physical Education is an obligator curricular component in the Basic Education however many research had evidenced a rise of the dismissal of pupils in High School. The central problematic questions the reasons that take the schools to dismiss the pupils of the lessons of Physical Education. The objectives of the research had been: to know the amount of pupils excused from the lessons of Physical Education in High School in the searched schools; to identify the causes of the dismissals of the pupils of the pertaining to school Physical Education; e to analyze the pedagogical consequences of the dismissal of the pupils of the lessons of pertaining to school Physical Education. The following techniques of collection of data are used in order to take care of to the objectives of the research: documentary analysis; questionnaire applied to the pupils of the High School; interviews with pedagogical coordinators. The analysis of the data followed the hermeneutic dialético method(MINAYO, 2004). The effective legislation, lines of direction at the time (LDB, Curricular Lines of direction) and the debate around of the Physical Education to be Curricular or Component Activity had been searched in the theoretical referencial. The work brought the accumulation of research and reflections on the specific subject of the study, in the second moment. Diverse reasons that had led to the dismissals of the pupils of the lessons of Physical Education had been identified such as: the concern of the pupils with the vestibular contest; the proper culture instituted of if accepting the dismissals of the pupils; the unfamiliarity of the current legislation on the part of the coordinators;the conception, to mine to see, maken a mistake of the professors on what it would inside come to be the Physical Education of the school many times confused it with an activity and not as a curricular component; e also, one of the reasons, is the proper capitalist system. In the final considerations I make a synthesis of the work pointing the findings of the research, identifying proposals to the change of the current scenery that if find schools front to this problematic one.
